Hello again! I haven’t spoken to many of you in a long time and I hope this finds you all happy and well. I launched a travel company and it’s been a fun way to stay connected.
Let’s get ready for your trip! I designed this page to help ensure that every traveler’s details, preferences, and optional add-ons are captured clearly so the entire group experience comes together smoothly.
While you’ll be traveling as part of a group, each traveler’s arrangements are handled individually and thoughtfully. My role is to help manage the logistics, coordinate the moving parts, and make this experience as smooth and stress-free as possible for everyone involved.
HERE IS WHERE I WILL POST UPDATES MADE AND ACTION ITEMS:
Nothing for now!
Tom’s 50th!!
The Cruise?8 Nights on board the odyssey of the seas with roayl caribbean!
Travel dates, April 15th- April 24th. I’ll arrange for flights on the 15th, an overnight in Barcelona the evening of the 15th, and you’ll set sail on the 16th. I will be updating this page to include optional add ons shortly.
Your trip includes travel to:
-

Barcelona, Spain
You’ll stay one night in a hotel before departing on the ship! You’ll check in on April 15th and out on April 16th
-

Palma de Mallorca, Spain
This gorgeous little island is home to wonderful wine, seafood, beautiful clear water beaches, and ancient villages clinging to seaside mountains. I spend a week on the island and can make recommendations if you’re interested.
-

Nice (VILLEFRANCHE), France
You’ll have two beautiful options while docked here! You’ll be a short distance from the mountaintop town of Èze, with its views of the French Riviera, and from Nice’s Vieille Ville (Old City). Both are great options when deciding how to spend your day.
-

FLORENCE / PISA (LA SPEZIA), ITALY
You’ll have the choice to visit Pisa but I found Florence to be one of the most beautiful cities in Italy. If Pisa is a bucket list item, visit! If not, I highly recommend staying in Florence for the day. I know of an AMAZING steak restaurant near the Duomo.
-

Sicily (Messina), Italy
Messina is a coastal gem in northern Sicily and a wonderful place to explore at an easy pace. Wandering the city’s streets to see the history reflected in its architecture, from the long-standing Messina Cathedral to the mix of styles found throughout town. It’s a great stop for soaking in Sicily’s character.
-

Naples/Capri, Italy
The third-largest Italian city and one of the oldest in Europe, Naples combines deep history and modern verve. Check out the extravagant Royal Palace of Naples, the former home of the royal family, or simply people-watch from a streetside cafe in the Sanita district with a glass of wine and slice of classic margherita pizza. It’s gorgeous and I recommend anything lemon! They’re grown along the Amalfi Coast and are so, so, good.
-

Rome, Italy
Rome is a city best enjoyed at an unhurried pace. It’s a beautiful city with endless things to see and do…and it’s home to probably the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten from one of the oldest shops in Italy.
While your cruise may be ending here, your trip doesn’t have to. I’d be happy to help arrange a hotel and extend your stay so you can enjoy Rome a bit longer or rest before your return flight home.
Tom has taken some time to select a few shore excursions he’s especially excited about and would love to share the experience with you. If any of these appeal to you as well, you’re welcome to join him by adding them to your cruise plans.
Below, you’ll find the preselected excursion options. You can add them to your trip through your Royal Caribbean profile. If you’re having trouble with this please feel free to reach out and I will help. The per person pricing I have provided may differ from the prices you see when you log into your Royal Caribbean account because each person’s loyalty membership level may provide a different discount.
