Exciting News!
This will be my company’s very first group tour — and you're invited! I've explored 35 countries and led many trips before, but this will be the first under my own company’s name, making it especially meaningful.
This won’t be your typical “small group” trip of 20 strangers on a bus. This journey is intentionally intimate, with just 8 travelers max — including me as your personal guide. We’re heading to Poland — a destination close to my heart. Together, we’ll go beyond the standard tourist track to discover vibrant cities, quiet villages, rich culture, and hidden gems most travelers miss.
To celebrate this milestone, I’m offering a one-time-only discount to those who join this adventure. Most tours with groups this small charge significantly more — but I’ve worked hard to keep this trip accessible while still including extras others often leave out, like entry tickets to major sites and several meals.
Spots are limited (really limited!) — and this is a unique chance to be part of something special from the very beginning. Ready to experience Poland like most don’t have the opportunity to?

Itinerary
-
Welcome to Poland! We’ll meet and get to know one another after transferring to the hotel and freshening up. Once we’ve gone over the welcome packet we’ll start things off right with a traditional dinner, live music and folk dancing.
-
Just outside Kraków lies Wieliczka Salt Mine, a 700-year-old marvel and UNESCO World Heritage site. We’ll descend deep underground to explore a labyrinth of tunnels, chambers, and chapels carved entirely from salt — including intricate sculptures, chandeliers, and even an underground lake. As we wander through the mine we’ll step back in time, discovering the mine’s fascinating history and the ingenuity of the miners who transformed it.
Back above ground, we’ll enjoy a walking tour of Kraków. Along the way, our local guide will share tales of kings, scholars, and artists who helped shape Kraków’s rich cultural legacy.
-
On our journey to the picturesque mountain town of Zakopane, we’ll make a stop at the historic wooden village of Chochołów. This living museum of highland architecture is made entirely of hand-carved timber homes, many lovingly maintained by the same families for generations. From there, we’ll continue on to Zakopane, a favorite retreat for both artists and adventurers drawn to its blend of natural beauty and cultural charm.
We’ll enjoy lunch along lively Krupówki Street, the heart of Zakopane, where cozy cafés and local shops offering handcrafted wool, leather goods, and regional delicacies line the cobbled path. After a stroll we’ll ascend Gubałówka Hill by cable car for panoramic views of the Tatra Mountains, best savored with a glass of hot mulled wine and a bite of grilled Oscypek, the region’s iconic smoked sheep cheese. We’ll also visit the enchanting Jaszczurowka Chapel, a wooden architectural gem nestled in the forest.
-
We’ll set out on a morning hike to Lake Morskie Oko, one of the most stunning natural gems in Poland’s Tatra National Park. Nestled deep within the High Tatras and surrounded by dramatic peaks, this glacial lake offers alpine scenery and crystal-clear waters that mirror the surrounding mountains. The well-maintained trail begins in the mountain village of Palenica Białczańska and follows a scenic route through forested paths and gentle inclines. For those looking to shorten the journey, traditional horse-drawn carriages are available for hire partway along the route, offering a charming and relaxed way to experience the park.
Free time that can be spent in the thermal baths, Museum Oscypka, or wandering through town will follow.
-
Today we’ll leave the scenic mountain town of Zakopane for the vibrant city of Wrocław. As we travel north, enjoy the changing landscapes—from the Tatra foothills to the rolling countryside of Lower Silesia. Ksiaz Castle, perched dramatically on a forested cliff, is one of Poland’s largest and most intriguing castles. Known for its blend of architectural styles and mysterious WWII-era tunnels, the castle also offers stunning views over the Pełcznica River valley. After our visit, we’ll continue on to Wrocław, where the day concludes amid the city's lively atmosphere and colorful market square.
-
The day begins in Wrocław, a city known for its vibrant Market Square, whimsical dwarf statues, and scenic riverside paths. We'll explore its highlights on a guided morning tour using stable three-wheel electric seated scooters—an easy and fun way to take in the city's rich architecture and atmosphere. After the tour, we’ll head to Poznań, one of Poland’s oldest and most culturally rich cities. We’ll stop at a local farmers market to discover regional flavors, including the city’s beloved St. Martin’s croissants, a sweet pastry filled with white poppy seeds and nuts. The afternoon is yours to explore Poznań’s historic Old Town, colorful facades, and renaissance-style Town Hall at a relaxed pace.
-
After breakfast we’ll set out for the city of Toruń, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its remarkably preserved medieval architecture and as the birthplace of Nicolaus Copernicus. We'll spend the late morning and early afternoon exploring its cobbled streets, Gothic churches, and charming market square before enjoying a traditional Polish lunch in the heart of the Old Town. Famous for its gingerbread, we’ll be sure to make a stop to pick some up. In the afternoon, we’ll continue to Gdańsk, a historic port city on the Baltic coast known for its maritime heritage, amber craftsmanship, and the beautifully reconstructed Old Town. The day concludes with an evening boat tour along the Motława River, offering scenic views of the city’s waterfront and iconic crane, followed by dinner featuring local specialties and a wide selection of local Vodka for tasting.
-
Experience the serene beauty of Poland’s Lake District with a scenic drive from the coast into the heart of Masuria, where rolling hills, dense forests, and over 2,000 crystal-clear lakes await. As autumn paints the landscape in rich hues of gold, amber, and crimson, we’ll settle into a charming countryside ranch, surrounded by nature. The peaceful atmosphere of the region is especially magical in fall, when mist rises from the water in the early mornings and the crisp air carries the scent of pine. We’ll unwind by the lakes, and for horse fans, you can opt for a guided horseback riding session.
-
We’ll begin the day exploring the charming town of Olsztyn, known for its medieval Old Town, cobblestone streets, and the Gothic-style Olsztyn Castle, once home to astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus. We’ll browse local markets, enjoy a coffee in a cozy café, and take in the town’s rich blend of history and culture. By midday, we’ll return to the ranch for a leisurely afternoon. Unwind in the lakeview sauna, paddle across the calm waters by kayak, curl up by the fire with a good book, or take a long walk through the colorful autumn landscape.
-
Our journey continues to Warsaw, where we’ll visit the magnificent Wilanów Palace, often called the “Polish Versailles.” This baroque royal residence, once home to King Jan III Sobieski, is a stunning example of 17th-century architecture surrounded by beautifully manicured gardens. In the evening, the palace grounds come alive with the annual Royal Garden of Light—a beloved seasonal tradition. Thousands of decorative lights and illuminated sculptures transform the gardens into a magical wonderland, perfectly timed for our visit.

Today offers two unforgettable ways to experience the rich history and culture of Poland—choose the path that speaks to you.
Option One:
Hop into a vintage Fiat and see Warsaw through the eyes of a local. A professional guide will take you on a lively city tour filled with stories, hidden gems, and a look into Warsaw’s layered past and modern revival. In the afternoon, wander the cobbled streets of the beautifully restored Old Town before rolling up your sleeves for a hands-on pierogi-making class. You’ll end the day with a shared meal of the traditional dumplings you’ve crafted.Option Two (at an additional cost):
Take a deeper dive into Poland’s complex history with a private guide for a full-day excursion. You’ll visit Majdanek, one of the best-preserved former Nazi concentration camps, followed by a visit to Lublin’s atmospheric Old Town, rich with Renaissance and baroque architecture. After returning to your hotel in the evening, enjoy dinner at your leisure in one of the city’s many inviting restaurants. I’d be happy to recommend a few options! -
Today we return to Kraków, arriving in time to spend the afternoon exploring the legendary Wawel Castle. Perched above the Vistula River, this historic royal residence is a symbol of Polish heritage and pride, with architectural influences ranging from Gothic to Renaissance. You'll have time to wander its grand courtyards, art-filled chambers, and perhaps even visit the cathedral.
While dinner isn't included this evening, I've chosen a cozy local restaurant known for its hearty Polish cuisine and live music. I’d love for you to join me!
We’ll be staying in Kazimierz, Kraków’s former Jewish quarter, now a vibrant neighborhood filled with cafes, galleries, and cobbled streets steeped in history.

Today offers two meaningful ways to spend your final full day in Poland—each providing a deep connection to the country’s culture, history, and spirit.
Option One:
Spend the morning visiting the charming village of Zalipie, famous for its tradition of painting homes with vibrant floral designs—a colorful folk art passed down through generations. A local host will introduce us to the village’s history, and stories behind the art. We’ll meet the artists as well! In the afternoon, we’ll return to Kraków for a guided walking tour of Kazimierz, the city’s historic Jewish quarter. Rich in culture and resilience, this district offers layers of history—from its medieval roots to its modern-day revival as a creative and cultural hub.Option Two (at an additional cost):
For those seeking a more solemn and reflective experience, join a private full-day tour to Auschwitz-Birkenau, the former Nazi concentration and extermination camp. Accompanied by a knowledgeable guide, you’ll walk through preserved barracks, memorials, and exhibits that tell the harrowing but important story of this site. It is a powerful reminder of the past and a tribute to those who suffered and perished there.Evening Gathering:
Regardless of your daytime choice, we will come together in the evening for a special farewell dinner, followed by a visit to a local cemetery for All Saints’ Day. On this national holiday, Polish families honor their loved ones by lighting candles and decorating graves with flowers. The cemeteries glow with thousands of flickering lights, creating a beautiful and moving atmosphere—a fitting and heartfelt close to our journey. -
If your departure time allows- enjoy a final breakfast together before your transfer to the airport. I hope to see you join me on another adventure. Borneo and Kenya/Tanzania are in the works!
